- Lead, develop and manage the local Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team and Medical Advisors.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key medical experts, investigators and opinion leaders across relevant specialist therapeutic areas.
- Provide strategic direction while remaining hands‑on in the planning and execution of local medical activities, in collaboration with regional and global Medical Affairs teams.
- Lead and coordinate pre‑launch and pre‑reimbursement activities for upcoming products and indications.
- Support patient access initiatives designed to address significant unmet medical needs.
- Provide medical expertise and input into local regulatory approval, reimbursement and market access processes.
- Partner with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations to identify and engage investigators, clinical experts and trial sites supporting the development of new therapies.
- Oversee the assessment, management and internal coordination of unsolicited investigator‑sponsored research proposals and ongoing projects.
- Ensure pharmacovigilance and risk‑management activities are appropriately planned and implemented in accordance with applicable local and European requirements.
- Maintain high standards of medical governance, legal compliance and ethical conduct across all medical activities.
Desired Skills, Experience and Attributes

- A proactive, self‑starting approach, with strong personal drive and accountability.
- Willingness to travel regularly to engage with external stakeholders and support medical activities.
- A strong track record in strategic launch planning and execution, including pre‑launch initiatives.
- A solid scientific or clinical background, enabling meaningful scientific exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
