Description: Aquila Capital is seeking a (Senior) Legal Counsel (m/w/d) for its headquarters in Hamburg. The successful candidate will provide independent legal support in general commercial and contract law, with a strong focus on renewable energy (wind, solar, hydro), real estate, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating national and international contracts (such as SPAs, EPCs, O&M, and lease agreements), handling warranty and damage claims, managing external counsel, and advising internal specialist departments.Eligibility:
- Successfully completed law studies with two above-average German State Examinations (Staatsexamina) or a comparable European law degree.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in a commercially or transaction-oriented law firm.
- Sound knowledge in commercial, contract, and project-related law.
- Business fluent German and English language skills (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
