(Senior) Product Manager (m/f/x) in Berlin

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced, energetic, AI-forward, and performance driven (Senior) Product Manager to join our Product team in Berlin.

In this role, you'll take end-to-end ownership of one or more core product capabilities across our member portal and internal operations experience, from discovery and strategy through delivery and iteration. You'll work closely with Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders across Sales, Member Experience, Finance, and Legal to build products that support people through some of life's most sensitive moments.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-driven and comfortable owning a domain without heavy oversight, who brings structure and clarity to ambiguity, and who communicates decisions and rationale clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in start-up speed and maneuverability, while you take steps to improve and optimize how you and the team work to deliver results. You will be working within a small but mighty product team with Product Management, Content and localization, and design, reporting into our Sr. Director of Global Product.

Tasks

• Own multiple product capabilities end to end - from problem definition and discovery through delivery, launch, and ongoing iteration
• Define product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for your area, in partnership with product leadership, Engineering, and Design
• Translate ambiguous business and user problems into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria - can include business analyst-like activities
• Partner closely with Product Designers on user research, journey mapping, and validating solutions before and during build
• Work closely with Engineering to prioritize the backlog, unblock delivery, and make sound trade-off calls
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Member Experience, Finance, and Legal to align product decisions with operational and business realities
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder alignment sessions, and retrospectives
• Monitor product performance post-launch and drive iteration based on data and user feedback
• Communicate progress, decisions, and the reasoning behind them clearly and proactively, without needing to be asked
• Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving, dynamic environment balancing oversight on changing variables with granular details

What You Bring

• At least 6+ years of experience in Product Management, with a track record of owning a product area or capability end to end, from discovery through launch and iteration
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively - highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable making progress without close direction
• Clear, structured communicator, able to explain context, decisions, and trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels
• Strong experience partnering with Design and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle
• Comfortable introducing and shaping 'best practices' while balancing with the current organizational context
• AI-forward mindset, ruthless prioritization and consistent, clear verbal and written communication with stakeholders in English
• Comfortable defining and tracking success metrics, and using data to inform product decisions
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to change in a fast-moving, scaling environment

Nice to Have

• Experience owning workflow-heavy or process-driven capabilities, for example in fintech, insurance, or healthtech (e.g. claims, payments, reimbursement, or similarly regulated operational flows)
• Familiarity with and affinity for healthcare, wellbeing, or HR technology products
• Experience working in international teams
