By joining the first team in the world desiging from first principles how a robot should clean commercial spaces, you are going to heavily rely on your creativity and determination to solve problems in unconventional ways. /ppWhat you’ll be doing: /pulliBuild custom electromechanical systems from a robot arm and grippers to automatic tool changers, to a docking station /liliBuild cleaning-specific mechanical systems like cleaning end-effector tools and fluid systems /liliDrive our HIL testing efforts to prove effectiveness and durability of our mechanical systems /liliContribute to the industrialization efforts required to manufacture hundreds of robots /li /ulh3bYou /b /h3pWhat you should have: /pulli3+ years in a professional Mechanical Engineering environment, preferably Robotics, Automotive, or Aerospace /liliStrong CAD modeling experience (e.g. Onshape) /liliExperience with metals and plastics manufacturing processes /liliExperience in robotics actuation systems (e.g. BLDC motors, gearboxes, encoders, torque sensors) /liliExperience in fluid systems (e.g. water pumps, valves, nozzles) /liliExperience writing basic software for test benches independently (Python, C++) /li /ulpThese skills are a plus: /pulliExperience building custom PCBs /liliYou have built articulated robots before (e.g. a robot arm or robot leg, quadruped, humanoid) /liliYou have contributed building a hardware product shipped in the hundreds of units to customers /li /ulpDon't worry if you don't hit every check-mark.
