h3We are hiring a Testing Engineer /h3 pStart date: ASAP /p pZürich, Switzerland (on-site, remote not possible) /p pFull-time (100%) /p h3Your role /h3 pAs a Testing Engineer, you will be in charge of building the organizational machine that continuously tests, improves, and validates our product. You will be at the intersection of hardware, software, and operations. You are going to leverage your deep full-stack understanding of robotics systems to greatly impact the performance of our robot fleet. You will push our systems to failure and closely collaborate with engineers across hardware and software to figure out where and how improvements can be made, you will build the processes to run our tests, and you will work closely with the operations team to build testing environments that challenge our systems. /p h3What you'll be doing /h3 ullipDefine the testing processes intended to make edge-case issues surface /p /lilipDesign the testing rigs and mock-up environments to increase our testing capacity and coverage /p /lilipManage a team of robot operators in charge of running the test jobs you plan /p /lilipBuild systems to improve the feedback loops between the testing and RD teams /p /lilipContribute to the engineering solutions of many of the problems you identify across hardware and software /p /lilipPlan and oversee release testing, and manage the hardware and software releases of our system /p /li /ul h3What you should have /h3 ullip3+ years building robotics systems in a professional settings across hardware and software, to deeply understand the system you're testing /p /lilipLinux fluency such as bash, containers, systemd, networking /p /lilipExcellent interpersonal skills, to interface with everyone on the engineering team and manage a team of robot operators /p /lilipExcellent organizational skills, to navigate messy environments and a lot of noise /p /lilipHigh agency, to figure out how to make things happen faster than most would expect /p /li /ul h3These skills are a plus: /h3 ullipExperience with debugging common electrical systems (CAN bus, power distribution, ..) /p /lilipExperience with ROS2 /p /lilipExperience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing /p /lilipExperience with NVIDIA Jetson /p /lilipExperience with CAD modeling (e.g. Onshape) /p /li /ul pYou will be the first dedicated Testing Engineer at Loki.
