Your tasks:

Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies for humanoid robotics prototypes
Create and maintain manufacturing, assembly, and detailed drawings for actuator and joint systems
Manage and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) for actuators, structural components, and assemblies
Design brackets, interfaces, structural parts, and mounting elements using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
Perform tolerance analyses (Worst-Case and RSS) to ensure fit, functionality, and manufacturability
Apply GD&T and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles throughout the design process
Collaborate with electrical, software, and robotics engineers to ensure successful system integration

Your profile:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
Proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable CAD software
Experience with tolerance analysis, GD&T and DFM
Background in precision mechanics, actuators, gearboxes, bearings, or motor integration is a plus
Robotics experience is desirable
Availability to work on-site several days per month is preferred
Fluent in English; German is a plus
