Your Area of Responsibility

Overall responsibility for the output of your team and the product features within the areas of competence covered by the team members Planning personnel, resources, and priorities within the group, including monitoring and verification of effort booking for correctness and completeness Providing the appropriate project accounts Disciplinary management, including:

Vacation planning and preparation for approval by department management Conducting employee appraisals Supporting job interviews Acting as motivator and first point of contact in case of problems

Continuous guidance, coaching, and support of team members Negotiating feature backlogs and prioritization with stakeholders Managing suppliers providing software components and/or tools related to the group's area of competence Requirements

Must Have

Knowledge of software development processes and agile methods Basic programming knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language or one modern web programming/scripting language (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript, PHP) Solid MS Office skills Moderation techniques Leadership and teamwork skills Strong organizational and time management skills Stress resistance and ability to improviseHigh affinity for user experience and modern visualization design across different devices and device types, including mobile devices Structured and team-oriented way of working Degree from a Higher Technical Education Institute, University of Applied Sciences, or Technical University in Automation Technology or Information Technology Advanced German and English language skills, both written and spoken Nice to Have

2 to 3 years of experience with programming and scripting languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, C++, or frontend technologies including HTML, XML, JSON, and CSS 2 to 3 years of experience leading a software development team in the SCADA industry Experience with WinCC OA Basic knowledge of web technologies and web architectures Experience in high-quality UI design and user experience What We Offer

This position is subject to the Austrian IT Collective Agreement (KV IT / ST2). The minimum gross monthly salary is EUR 4,700 based on 38.5 hours per week. A higher salary is possible depending on qualifications and professional experience.
