Tasks & responsibilities

In your new role you will drive operational excellence through standardization, lean process design, automation and AI-enabled ways of working.

With a focus on global contract template harmonization, you will support the standardization, harmonization and structured design of templates to enable scalable contracting, automation and AI-ready use cases.

By identifying opportunities to globalize legal support, you will help further streamline and synchronize Boehringer Ingelheim's legal support model.

Design and implement technology-enabled contracting solutions in close collaboration with Legal, business and technology stakeholders.

Finally, you will lead and advise on global initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

Requirements

Master's degree (or equivalent) with several years of relevant experience in Legal, or Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Data Science, Informatics, Information Management or related business fields with long-term experience

Strong background in legal operational topics (operational excellence, process design, data-driven assessment & judgement, challenge the status quo)

Proven experience in legal engineering and AI readiness, with the ability to translate legal requirements into structured templates, scalable processes, data structures, templates, automation and AI technology-enabled use cases solutions

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze, design and implement effective processes

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, global environment with a proactive and collaborative work ethic

Ability to collaborate effectively, proactively and pragmatically and maintain an optimistic outlook

Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to influence across functions and cultures
