A Snapshot of Your Day
You lead the global Sales process across Transformation of Industry, working closely with business leaders, process sponsors, IT teams, key users, and deployment teams. Your day includes assessing current sales processes, defining global standards, aligning requirements across countries and business units, and supporting major ERP transformation activities. You balance global consistency with local business needs, guide rollout activities from design through go-live, and drive adoption through collaboration with stakeholders around the world.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ownership of the end-to-end global Sales process from customer inquiry through order processing to billing across the target ERP landscape
- Definition and maintenance of a standardized global Sales process and template across business units, countries, and target systems
- Assessment of current-state processes and development of future-state process standards supporting ERP consolidation objectives
- Governance of template extensions, local deviations, and process harmonization while balancing global standards with business requirements
- Leadership of the business workstream during rollouts, including process design, approval, testing, go-live preparation, and hypercare support
- Development and leadership of the global Sales Key User community to drive user adoption, knowledge sharing, and process excellence
What You Bring
- Degree in business, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, combined with longterm experience in sales process management and ERP-enabled transformation within manufacturing, engineering, or similar industries
- Deep business process expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution and Order-to-Cash processes, with additional CRM knowledge such as Salesforce considered an advantage
- Proven experience in process harmonization across multiple systems, countries, or business units as part of large-scale SAP S/4HANA or comparable transformation programs
- Experience with global template governance, including fit-to-standard approaches, change control processes, and management of local deviations
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills across functions, cultures, and organizational levels without formal authority
- Team-oriented, results-focused mindset with fluent English and the ability to drive adoption and alignment in a global environment
