DBA Engineer with French

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, subject matter experts, solution designers, and engineers from both internal teams and the client side.
• Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Design and implement efficient database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships to meet data storage and retrieval needs.
• Optimize database performance by fine-tuning Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases, monitoring performance metrics, and applying best practices to ensure high system responsiveness.

Requirements:

• Practical experience as a database administrator (DBA), ideally with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Solid hands-on background in database security, backup and recovery, as well as high-availability solutions.
• Thorough understanding of database system maintenance and administration.
• Strong skills in SQL scripting and database query optimization.
• Knowledge of database architecture, design, and techniques for performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent communication skills in English and French, both spoken and written.
