Job Description
This is an opportunity to join a Global Banking institution as a Senior Java Developer in their Financial division. This is an international company with a big-scale complex system that's been on Irish soil for years - continuing its profitable streak and currently going through a growth period. The organization is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their Financial team. They are undergoing an Europe-wide expansion and are in need of quality Java Developers to help build their large-scale systems through coding, unit testing, planning and design.
This Senior Java Developer role is best suited for an experienced developer/engineer who enjoys working in a technically challenging environment and comes from a banking/trade management/capital markets background.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your development expertise to work on development projects with large-scale systems
- Collaborate with and mentor the software engineering team in a flexible and diverse environment
- Collaborate with technical and solution architects, business analysts and product management
Skills/Experience
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Java
- Good understanding of relational DBs, Linux (RedHat) and MQ
- 5+ years of experience in the industry (Nice to have: Compliance, AML or Risk)
Salary / Remuneration
Up to €95,000 + 2-4 days in the office/month, bonus, pension scheme, life assurance, medical insurance, and extras.
