Job Description
This is an opportunity to join a Global Financial Services company as a Senior Java Engineer with plans to progress to Technical Lead as early as Q1 next year. This company operates on a huge scale, providing key financial services applications to institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers. The organization is looking to break up its legacy monolith into cloud-based microservices.
They are looking for their first Senior Java Engineer to take the lead on this, after which a team will be created around them, allowing the candidate to showcase their leadership qualities. As a first mover, you will be able to make a strong impact on the technical direction of this team.
This Senior Java Engineer position suits an experienced person looking to collaborate on enterprise-level, technically oriented projects. With a lot of room for career progression, even for experienced individuals, this is an ideal role for a candidate who's looking for more challenges in a fast-paced microservices environment and who's motivated to share their knowledge.
Responsibilities
