This fully remote Cyber Security Specialist Role is with a semi-private, state-funded organisation whose mission focus is on supporting those in under-privileged positions. Some of their main areas of focus include social inclusion, early childhood care & education, community development, education & training, etc. You and the organisation will have a hugely positive impact on Irish society.
The organisation is in search of a Cyber Security Specialist whose primary role will be focused on risk management and compliance around security frameworks, specifically ISO and NIST. Due to the nature of this organisation, they would ideally like a person to join who wishes to have a positive social impact. You will have the opportunity to have daily inter-departmental interactions.
This position is ideally suited to a mid-senior level Cyber Security Specialist, who is creative, collaborative and thrives as part of a friendly team environment. The position is fully remote, which provides for a fantastic work-life balance, with the opportunity to build working credit through the organisation's flexi-time scheme and achieve up to 36 days of Annual Leave.
You will:
- Join a newly-created department
- Contribute to a brand-new, exciting project
- Design and implement second-line defence assessments of computer systems
- Ensure robust security monitoring, alerting and response is in place
Skills/Experience:
- 3 years' experience in risk management & compliance (ISO/NIST)
- 1 year experience in incident response experience
- Technical background (ideally)
Salary/Remuneration:
€55,000 - €65,000 + fully remote working + flexible working hours + excellent benefits
