Ardagh Metal Packaging is looking for Customer Technical Service Manager (m/f/d)

Located at Plant Enzesfeld, Ardagh Metal Packaging Trading Austria GmbH, 2551 Enzesfeld-Lindabrunn, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Role Overview

This position ensures to drive each individual customer line requirements to meet the standards when using the cans and ends from AMP-E; it contributes to uninterrupted and efficient filling process, continuous improvement of the filling line performance, creates opportunities for added value services and increases customer stickiness.

The Customer Technical Service Manager is a part of the complaint handling process and key position to the product and packaging related qualifications. The function manages and drives the technical topics (meetings, projects, developments) for KA’s and Regional customers, and liaise with the other regions where the projects and developments apply. In this function you are the main regional contact for the CTS Central Project Engineer, preparing and reporting weekly about the main activities, key information and KPI’s progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visiting and maintaining regular contact with assigned customers for project follow-up, new developments, claims or complaint review
  • Acting as a technical advisory on operations related to the cans and ends performance in the filling line, warehouse handling (filled and empty) or transport
  • Promoting filling line audits and other tailored services as per VA services catalog
  • Planning, agreeing and executing the AMP-E and customer projects and developments together with the CTS central project manager and the customer.
  • Contributing actively to the complaint handling process (investigation and technical settlement with the customer – critical issues)
  • Promoting continuous improvement at the customer and internally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor\’s degree in the field of technical sciences or engineering
  • Min. 5 years of similar experience within international company and environment
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Problem-solving, people relations and organizational skills

The collective annual base salary as of November 1, 2023 BG I/n4BGJ for industrial employees for the Machinery, Metal Goods and Foundry Industry Association is € 81.906,02 gross. The actual gross annual base salary depends on your expertise and practice.
