Title:
Network Engineer
Location:
On site location is in Sierra Vista, AZ but the position is fully remote.
Citizenship/Clearance Requirement:
US Citizen with an Active Secret clearance required. This position supports a government contract.
Responsibilities:
- Leads contractor-related efforts and provides expert consultation in the translation of business requirements into IT requirements, designs, and acquisition packages.
- Provides in-depth engineering analysis of IT alternatives for the U.S. Army in support of strategic modernization efforts.
- Provides telecommunications enhancement designs for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.
- Provides interface support to IT end users, DoD IT service provider personnel, USAISEC, and program management offices.
- Applies knowledge of engineering and scientific principles, computer technologies, and human cognition to design, implement, and manage information systems.
- Designs and develops databases, develops system architectures, establishes system standards, integrates information systems with varied data sources and networks, and generally plans, integrates, designs, tests, or operates information systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering (or closely related curriculum) from an Accredited Board of Engineering (ABET) accredited institution with a minimum of 15 years of information systems engineering experience.

Task Personnel Requirements:
- IT Level: Information Technology (IT/ADP Level III)
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist, or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate, and IAT Level II Baseline Certification.
