Role descriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales & Business Development Manager with proven expertise within the local food & beverage flavouring industry. As one of the first joiners in a start-up environment, the position will focus on generating and activating new leads and building a strong regional portfolio. We are seeking a determined individual eager to drive growth and build solid foundations for this new venture.Minimum QualificationsOver 8 years of professional experience in B2B sales for the food & beverage industry with focus on sweet & dairy/beverages/savory.Knowledge about the industry of the regional market, ability to act as an internal consultant.Ability to travel.Fluency in English is necessary, knowledge of any other languages is an asset.Your MissionFormulate a strategic sales plan to drive market reach and acquisition of new customers in the food & beverage segment, with focus onsweet & dairy OR beverages OR savory.Act as a consultant to the management on any sales-related topic.Outline and integrate the necessary sales processes internally.Recruit, onboard, and train new members of the sales department.Build a strong portfolio of high potential customersSurvey the market to identify target customers and sales potential – build a strong database of prospective clients.Connect with prospects (from discovery to closing) and build high-level relationships with decision-makers.Onboard valuable and profitable business to reach company and personal goals.Report on sales evolution and create forecasts.Represent the company at industry events.Be an essential part of our customer success teamHandle the full customer experience – brief meetings, sensory test panels, workshops R&D department, etc. – and coordinate customer projects to ensure maximal satisfaction.Provide technical support to our customers in cooperation with the internal specialist departments.Participate in internal and external sensory test panels to assess in-house developments and market products.Continuously monitor market trends to keep, in partnership with R&D, the portfolio up to date. #J-18808-Ljbffr
