About the Company
Argor-Heraeus SA, a leading global precious metals company is looking for a Process Improvement Manager to drive the implementation and development of a continuous improvement culture through the application of Lean and Lean Six Sigma principles, with the objective of optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects aligned with business priorities.
- Apply and promote Lean and Lean Six Sigma methodologies across the organization.
- Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities in terms of efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Ensure a strong shop-floor presence (Gemba) to monitor and optimize operational processes.
- Train, support, and develop operational employees’ competencies in Lean tools and methodologies.
- Facilitate Kaizen activities and continuous improvement workshops.
- Monitor project KPIs and results, ensuring objectives are achieved.
- Support the organization’s cultural transformation towards continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the international network to align best practices and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in similar roles (continuous improvement, operational excellence).
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
- Hands-on experience in industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Lean Manufacturing and related tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, Kanban).
- DMAIC methodology.
- Data analysis and KPI management.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and training abilities.
- Practical, hands-on approach with a strong results orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- English: advanced level (required for collaboration with Group/Holding functions).
