A forward-thinking international company is seeking a visionary and driven Managing Director (CEO) to lead its growth. Serving major global OEMs and system integrators, the company has a strong presence across Europe, North America, and Asia. With 12 patents and a commitment to continuous innovation, they specialize in developing cutting-edge solutions and offering license partnerships.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for ambitious young professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset to step in and grow within the company.
Tasks:
- Development and implementation of a strategic market and customer orientation.
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with key accounts and major customers.
- Organisation and monitoring of work processes, production processes and purchasing.
- Financial responsibility: budgeting, cost control and economic management.
- Recruitment, management and development of employees.
- Representing the company at trade fairs, congresses and other events.
- Implementation and management of marketing measures.
- Working closely with our founder and current Chairman of the Board of Directors to ensure optimal familiarisation and the development of long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a management position with an entrepreneurial mindset (previous management experience is not essential).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Charismatic personality with enthusiasm and drive.
- Technical understanding, ideally with knowledge of electronics.
- Decisiveness, organisational talent and quick perception.
- Ability to work under pressure and a sense of responsibility.
- Completed engineering degree with business knowledge.
- Experience with ERP systems and product costing.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales.
- Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 40% of working time).
- Fluency in English and Italian knowledge (German is an advantage)
