Wahrscheinlich verwenden Sie synthetische Kautschuke in Ihrem täglichen Leben, ohne es zu merken. Für die Fahrt zur Arbeit und nach Hause brauchen Sie Gummi in den Reifen Ihres Autos oder Fahrrads. Beim Duschen befindet sich eine Gummidichtung in Ihrem Wasserhahn. Beim Öffnen des Kühlschranks sorgen die Gummidichtungen dafür, dass die Tür richtig schließt und die Kälte drinnen bleibt. Neben diesen eher "traditionellen" Anwendungen wird unser synthetischer Kautschuk auch in Batterien für Elektroautos, in Windmühlen und Solarmodulen verwendet.

As Global HSSEQ Manager , you:

• will establish and maintain compliance with the global Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements and align with the needs of the R&D department for all related parts i.e., safety, health, environment, and quality
• will support and advise the functional leads within R&D on legal and corporate HSE requirements to guide the implementation of relevant policies
• design and manage a global T&S HSE system incl. global instructions
• Chair the global R&D SHE council and manage the interface to Global HSSEQ
• provide input for the monthly KPI HSE reporting
• drive development of annual HSE plans
• recognizes, collect, promote, and distribute actively "Best Practices" within T&S and if applicable beyond
• lead the administration and the management of SAM (incl. set up of training schedules)
• coordinate and organize the training of the R&D community regarding specific HSE requirements
• will set up, design, and improve all relevant working processes within R&D organization related to HSSEQ topics
• will support actively the audit preparation and guidance for the R&D organization
• will be locally responsible to set up and manages (store and update) overarching harmonized system/concept of working procedures for R&D Center in Dormagen incl. all laboratories and the pilot plant unit, organize (mandatory) medical examinations and trainings e.g., evacuation drills, fire extinguish exercises for the R&D department, identify and proactively support the reporting of incidents (e.g., in Sphera), conduct and lead root cause analysis and connect to the crisis team etc. in Germany

WHAT WILL YOU NEED

To accomplish this role, you:

• have technical degree (bachelor or master degree in chemistry or engineering)
• have a minimum of 10 years‘ working experience in the industrial industry
• are experienced in English and fluent in German (in written and verbal form)
• have a result- and value driven mindset
• are experienced in managing global and cross-functional teams without hierarchical responsibility
• have the agility to react and adapt to changing situations
• can manage complexity and opposite interests and sufficiently understand cross-impacts with other fields
• have in depth knowledge in the field of managing an organization regarding all relevant HSSEQ matters
• can work independently according to set guidelines, acquire approval in case of deviations, guide less skilled colleagues and offer actively trainings to support
• are proactively build, maintain, and convince (relations with) internal and external stakeholders
• initiate and conceptualize new solutions to meet future HSSEQ requirements
