The cdmt Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Centre, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police.
About 40% of the approximately 2500 employees are civilian, ranging from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics.
The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and about 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland.
It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
