The successful candidate will have technical knowledge of GIS and the development of GIS solutions for airports and state and local government. This position will require a candidate that is an independent thinking, self-motivated, and is able to manage their time with limited supervision. /p h3Overall Responsibility /h3 pResponsible for the production and maintenance of geographic data and working with the GIS team to provide solutions to our clients. /p h3Primary Responsibilities /h3 ulliProduces and maintains geographic data and graphics for GIS projects. /liliDevelops and manages scripts for data analysis and systems integration /liliReviews the adequacy and quality of GIS data and makes recommendation for specific types of improvement /liliDevelops GIS databases following GIS standards. /liliProduces metadata. /liliPerforms basic data maintenance to correct data issues. /liliCompiles and updates mapping/cartographic data to determine land use, elevation, and general relationship of existing physical features. /liliProduces maps. /liliCollects, valuates, and processes GPS data. /liliDevelops dashboards of geospatial data as needed for projects. /liliParticipates in ongoing training and career development activities. /liliStays current with GIS software trends. /li /ul h3Secondary Responsibilities /h3 ulliSupports opportunities to learn about GIS abilities and possibilities. /liliPerforms related work as required. /liliRepresents Arora at local networking events. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Experience/Education Requirements /h3 ulliBachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Geospatial Science, Engineering, or a related field. /lili3 years of professional GIS experience preferred; relevant internship or academic project experience may be considered. /liliExperience using Esri ArcGIS products, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. /liliExperience creating, editing, managing, and analyzing spatial data, maps, and geodatabases. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
