Job Purpose
The Junior DevOps Engineer manages and scales our multi-region, multi-account AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). They support GitOps-driven Kubernetes deployments, write backend code in Go as required, and collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure a fast development cycle. The role also involves troubleshooting issues across various services and assisting with debugging in a cloud-based environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and expand our multi-region, multi-account AWS infrastructure using IaC
- Oversee and enhance our GitOps-driven Kubernetes deployments
- Write backend code in Go as needed
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to maintain a fast-paced development cycle
- Troubleshoot issues across diverse services and functional areas
- Assist in debugging challenges within a cloud-based infrastructure
Qualifications
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Experience working in an AWS cloud environment
- Proficiency in deploying and maintaining microservices on Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
