Kitchen Assistant – Food Logistics and Delivery Support (Fixed-term contract 100%) – EcublensSalary: CHF .– to CHF .– gross x 13 months, depending on profile, experience andWork location: Ecublens (main site), with regular travel throughout the Canton of VaudStart date:Contract type: Fixed-term (CDD)Contract duration: from toActivity rate: 100%YOUR MISSIONWithin our artisanal production kitchen, you occupy a versatile role combining support for culinary production, logistics management, handling, and participate in packaging, storage, transport, and delivery of meals intended for schools, institutions, and communities in the Canton of Vaud, while ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety, traceability, and sustainability standards that are the hallmark of our company.This position includes approximately 60% kitchen support activities and 40% food logistics and delivery activities.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport for culinary production- Receive and store raw materials and food products.- Peel, wash, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.- Participate in plating, packaging, and setting up productions.- Use kitchen equipment in accordance with internal procedures.- Participate in meal service and distribution activities.- Ensure the maintenance of premises, cleanliness of equipment, and dishes.- Respect HACCP standards, hygiene, food safety, and occupational health rules.- Participate in waste management in accordance with the company's sustainability commitments.Food logistics and stock management- Receive goods and check their compliance with delivery notes.- Record goods movements and ensure their traceability.- Store products in suitable areas (storage rooms, cold rooms, etc.).- Prepare internal orders and pick, pack, and prepare products for transport.- Participate in inventories and stock monitoring.- Ensure monitoring of DLC/DDM (expiry dates) of products.- Anticipate goods needs with the kitchen team.- Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization of storage areas.Deliveries and transport- Prepare delivery routes.- Verify transport documents and delivery slips.- Load, secure, and unload goods in compliance with safety rules.- Ensure deliveries to clients, schools, and institutions.- Guarantee compliance with the cold chain during transport.- Check temperatures and compliance of transported goods.- Sign delivery documents and ensure associated follow-up.- Maintain vehicles and report any anomaly or maintenance need.- Support for logistical setup of events and coordination with kitchen teams, clients, concierges, and technical services.- Actively contribute to service quality and the good image of the company.- React effectively to unforeseen events and changes in priority.PROFILE SOUGHT – SKILLS- Excellent knowledge of HACCP standards and cold chain compliance.- Knowledge of food hygiene, occupational safety, and understanding of storage, traceability, and stock management principles.- High sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality.- Habit of working with control, inventory, and document tracking procedures.- Ability to read and interpret delivery notes, order documents, and transport documents.- Proficiency in digital tools (MS Office, ERP, stock management, hygiene monitoring).- Sense of organization and attention to detail.- Excellent stress resistance and ability to remain calm.- Good physical condition.- Autonomy, flexibility, and team spirit.- Neat appearance and excellent sense of service.- Interest in sustainable collective catering and environmental approaches.PROFILE SOUGHT – EXPERIENCE- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in catering.- Demonstrable experience in food logistics, stock management, or transport.- Experience in food delivery in compliance with HACCP standards and in an environment subject to traceability, control, and quality procedures.- Experience in production kitchens for schools, institutions, nursing homes (EMS).- Training as a kitchen employee, logistician CFC, transport and logistics agent, or equivalent constitutes an asset.- French language level B1 minimum (oral and written).- Valid driving license B, with BE, C, or C1 valid in Switzerland.- Clean criminal record.- Recent debt collection register extract.WE OFFER- An inclusive, respectful, and pleasant work environment, where homemade sustainable cuisine remains at the center of our purpose.- Balance between professional and personal life.- Stable, continuous hours: Monday-Friday, weekends off except for events planned in advance.- Development opportunities.- Quality lunch.ABOUT USCompany active in the Canton of Vaud, we offer collective and event catering services to schools, public institutions, companies, and private clients.
