Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain HSE programs and records/documentation.
- Routine inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Mitigation recommendations for workplace hazards.
- Expert advice and training programs, collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Training for enhanced HSE awareness and procedures.
- Incident and accident investigations, root cause identification & preventive action plans.
- Monitoring HSE performance metrics.
- Stay informed and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Audit, corrective actions, and documentation, regular inspections.
- Development of emergency response plans and drills for evaluation of effectiveness.
- Active participation in HSE committees and regulatory engagement.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Germany-based with a strong construction background required, emphasizing HSE expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of HSE experience, preferably in data centre, oil & gas, and construction industries.
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and proven track record in developing and implementing HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, people management abilities, and proficiency in conducting thorough incident investigations.
- Certification: Certified Safety Professional, ISO, NEBOSH, or equivalent along with proficiency in German is an advantage.
