We are recruiting a Director – M&A on behalf of our client in Frankfurt. The role offers an opportunity for an experienced M&A professional to lead transactions, develop client relationships and play an active role in origination and the firm’s continued growth. Our client is a Frankfurt-based M&A and corporate finance advisory boutique focused on mid-market transactions. Its sector coverage includes Business Services, Industrials, Software & Technology, Consumer and Life Sciences, with experience across domestic and cross-border deals. The team’s transaction track record includes an average deal value of approximately €65 million. Key Responsibilities Lead buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from origination through to completion. Develop and manage relationships with entrepreneurs, corporate clients and private equity investors. Identify new business opportunities and lead pitches to secure advisory mandates. Oversee financial modelling, valuation, financial analysis and the preparation of transaction materials. Manage due diligence processes, coordinate external advisers and support transaction negotiations. Lead and mentor deal teams, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple projects. Requirements Degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field. Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory or corporate finance. A strong track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and independently managing deal processes. Demonstrated business development skills, including experience developing client relationships and contributing to origination. Strong technical expertise in financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis. Proven leadership skills and experience managing and developing junior colleagues. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Fluent German and English, both written and spoken. Strong commercial judgement, initiative and a collaborative approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr
