Information Technology Support Technician in Villingen-Schwenningen

Asenium is seeking a hands-on, customer-focused IT Support Technician to support a manufacturing environment. You will provide onsite assistance across office, warehouse, and production areas, working with local stakeholders and regional/global IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues within defined service levels.
• Support Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, email, and approved business applications.
• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers, barcode scanners, and industrial handhelds.
• Support shop-floor workstations, label printing, and operational devices across production, warehouse, and logistics areas.
• Maintain asset inventories and coordinate device provisioning, reassignment, returns, and secure disposal.
• Assist with user accounts, access management, endpoint onboarding, and wired/wireless connectivity.
• Document support activities and coordinate complex incident escalations with specialist teams and vendors.
• Contribute to workstation refreshes, software deployments, and site infrastructure projects while following IT security and change management standards.

Must-have requirements:

• Hands-on experience providing end-user IT support and troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Practical skills in endpoint diagnostics, hardware replacement, and peripheral support, including printers and scanning devices.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and IT asset management solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with local and distributed teams.
• English and German, spoken and written.
• Availability to work onsite in Villingen.
