Our client is a leading German family-owned company with a long tradition. Their production plant in China manufactures mechanical components for other factories (internal customers) within the group. The successful candidate will first receive training at the main plant in Baden-Württemberg before being deployed to China. Dispatch contract (Entsendungsvertrag) for 5 years is possible.
Tasks
- Strategic planning and control of all production activities at the plant in China with over 200 employees, including mechanical manufacturing (turning, drilling, gear cutting, induction hardening), assembly, engineering, quality, technical consulting, facility management, occupational safety and environmental protection, planning, budgeting and cost control
- Introduction and further development of lean management to increase productivity
- Continuous analysis and optimization of production and operational processes
- Ensuring compliance with legal and internal regulations
- Leadership, motivation and development of a high-performing team, taking into account workforce management and organizational skills.
- Communication with international stakeholders, customers and suppliers to ensure smooth processes
- Promoting an open communication culture to strengthen team cohesion and foster innovation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a factory or production manager, ideally in the field of bearing or rolling bearing technology with induction hardening
- Excellent organizational and project planning skills as well as experience in workforce management
- Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English skills; German skills are an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with international teams, clients, and partners.
- High level of leadership skills, initiative and strategic thinking
- Ability to analyze and optimize complex processes and develop innovative solutions
