Founded in Lausanne in 1843, the Asile des aveugles Foundation includes the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital, a university ophthalmology service, a research centre, the Educational Centre for Visually Impaired Pupils (CPHV), social services, rehabilitation and low vision, and the Clair-Soleil medico-social establishment.
More than 650 collaborators mobilise every day in the service of visual health to offer diagnostic, treatment and support services to people with visual impairments.

Optometrist
Your mission
- Ensure a quality welcome and care for the patient - Conduct relevant anamneses - Perform diagnostic examinations (VA, refraction, OCT, visual field, biometry, etc.)
Your assets
- Federal diploma, HES Bachelor in optometry or equivalent recognised by the Red Cross - Authorisation to practise independently, imperative - Experience in optometry in a hospital environment or ophthalmologist's practice is an asset - Good understanding of medical care - Sense of observation and interpersonal skills - Ease in using computer tools.
