Our Airline Operation Control Centre (AOCC) is the heart of our service scope, ensuring seamless coordination and management of flights globally. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Flight Operations Officer (FOO).
Your role:
As an Airline Flight Operations Officer (FOO), you will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of our customers flight operations. You will work closely with pilots, air traffic control, and other operational teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of flight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file flight plans in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Monitor flight progress and provide real-time updates and support to flight crews.
- Coordinate with air traffic control, ground operations, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth flight operations.
- Assess and manage operational risks, including weather conditions and other potential disruptions.
- Provide timely and accurate information to flight crews regarding route, weather, fuel requirements, and any other pertinent factors.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of flight operations and prepare operational reports.
- Participate in the development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact flight operations.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Flight Dispatch License or FOO Basic Certification according ICAO 10106 or EASA ORO.GEN.110(C)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in flight operations or a related role within the aviation industry.
- English minimum ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4
- Comprehensive knowledge of flight planning, navigation, weather analysis, and air traffic control procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using flight operations software and systems.
- Understanding of safety management systems (SMS) and risk management principles
