Your tasks

The implementation of appropriate physical security concepts is essential to ensure ASML’s business continuity. Within ASML, the Corporate Physical Security department defines the global strategies, policies, projects, requirements and standards.

We are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our corporate real estate physical security team to play a decisive strategic role in protecting our employees, resources and know-how.

You will play a crucial role in protecting us from internal and external security threats with a focus on our technical framework.

As a Specialist in physical security infrastructure and technology you will, regarding your further development responsibilities:

• identify and support the implementation of physical security infrastructure and technology.
• ensure that global ASML security standards are implemented correctly.
• propose and manage mitigation strategies.
• monitor the general status, initiate troubleshooting and introduce measures to improve security processes.
• work closely with consulting firms, AMSL departments and technical service providers in the areas of building, operating and maintaining security technology and managing the delivery of services.
• play a key role in infrastructure and technology related projects.

As a Specialist in physical security infrastructure and technology you will, regarding your operational tasks:

• be responsible for operational access management and video management.
• work with physical protection personnel.
• proactively identify risks.
• support measures to increase security awareness.
• assist with strategic and operational / tactical physical security tasks.

Your qualifications

• You have a study graduation in (physical) security, a master’s qualification in protection and security (CCI: Chamber of Commerce and Industry) or a specialist qualification in protection and security (FSS (specialist for protection and security) / CCI).
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the physical security of a German company.
• You have experience in a production, manufacturing or high-tech environment.
• You have extensive know-how in the installation and operation of security technology, including IT networks in the area of access control, video management and intrusion detection systems.
• You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
