The Role
We are seeking a Solution Enablement Director (Global Practice Director), either from within our organization or externally, focusing on MES, Data Works, and Sustainability. The primary responsibility is to work closely with Enterprise Solution Consultants (ESCs) and Regional Solution Consultants (SCs) to develop solution and service execution plans, including large, integrated solutions involving these areas. The role also involves collaborating with Professional Services, Product Management, and the Partner Group. The individual will confirm the scope, deliverables, and timelines of proposals in these areas and be responsible for their approval in SalesForce.
This position offers a unique opportunity for an exceptional consultant to support both internal organizational goals and customer deployments using AspenTech’s MES and Data Works technologies. The role requires strategic understanding, requirements assessment, system setup, data validation, and analytics.
Your Impact
- Primarily working with AspenTech MES and Data Works technologies, including presentation layers like Aspen Inmation and A1PE.
- Gathering data, documenting, and summarizing client requirements; addressing business process issues with AspenTech solutions.
- Designing integrated solutions that benefit customers, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
- Supporting the sales organization and services team in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals.
- Supporting business growth in license and services bookings.
- Ensuring project milestones, delivery dates, and financial goals are met, in collaboration with project teams and partners.
- Maintaining client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional solutions.
- Collaborating with Sales, Support, R&D, and Partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assessing technical aspects of DSP applicants and managing deployment resources for services projects.
- Participating in new product launches within the area of expertise.
- Traveling internally approximately two trips per quarter.
What You\’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 15+ years of experience in optimization, data analysis, system integration, and interfacing (DCS to ERP), including user interfaces and presentation layers.
- Knowledge of MES concepts and technologies.
- Understanding of data integration, data lakes, data warehouses, networking, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Experience with low-level data acquisition systems.
- Fast learner with motivation to learn new technologies.
- Strong team player with good customer relations skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience with AspenTech technologies is a plus.
- Experience with AspenTech’s APC, SCM, or GDOT technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to obtain corporate AMEX and travel globally.
