Your mission
• Technical and disciplinary management of the accounting and reconciliation team within the Fund Services department
• Responsibility for the smooth operations of the team (booking of business transactions, import of external accounting data, creation of trial balances for comparison purposes, ensuring the correct typical accounting outputs such as P+L, purchase price changes, etc.) as well of mostly accounting-related investor reports including definition and compliance with the corresponding processes and quality assurance across different customer setups
• Professional development and ongoing optimization of existing processes and services in collaboration with other departments, such as the team for processing investment transaction data or the reporting team, as well as external third parties of our customers (e.g. Luxembourg fund administrators)
• Hands-on support in day-to-day business in peak situations and special cases
• Monitoring and documentation of existing processes including quality assurance and ISAE controls within the team
• Independent participation and, if necessary, independent control of projects and further development initiatives in connection with the organizational and technical development of the team as well as the service offering, including our system landscape as a whole, in collaboration with Product Management
• First point of contact for customers and other stakeholders regarding the services provided
• Support in the introduction of new mandates, together with the Customer Success – Client Onboarding team, for successful transfer into day-to-day business, as well as support in the sales process in the context of expert workshops
Your profile
- Successful completion of a degree in economics/business administration, accounting or finance, and industrial engineering; Alternatively, qualification as an accountant or specialist in the field of accounting, or comparable
- Several years of experience in the operational business of fund accounting with at least the area of responsibility in representing the team management, with initial management experience or experience in managing (sub-)projects
- Extensive knowledge in the area of fund administration as well as with the eFront system in operational use as well as in customizing or professional-technical integration into the system landscape with internal or external software specialists
- Experience in implementing quality assurance measures or in the (further) development of new services
- Analytical and structured way of working, as well as appropriate resilience
- Communication skills, a confident demeanor and a good sense of humor
- Very good knowledge of German and English, ideally also knowledge of French
