POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Business Excellence and Operations Manager located in Stabio, Ticino, Switzerland, the ASSOS of Switzerland Planner is responsible for coordinating and executing the end-to-end planning process, combining Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Control. The role ensures alignment between demand, production, and inventory targets while supporting the monthly S&OP process and maintaining optimal service levels and stock health.

This position plays a key role in connecting commercial inputs with operational execution.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Demand Planning

  • Consolidate inputs from Sales, Marketing, and historical data to build the demand forecast
  • Maintain and improve forecast accuracy and bias
  • Monitor forecast changes due to promotions, launches, and market dynamics
  • Prepare forecast reports and performance tracking
  • Re-forecasting during season based on actual results

Inventory Control

  • Monitor inventory levels across regions and channels
  • Maintain safety stock and reorder parameters
  • Track WOS, inventory turns, and slow movers
  • Support allocation decisions and stock rebalancing
  • Propose actions to reduce excess and obsolete inventory

S&OP Support

  • Prepare planning inputs and KPIs for monthly S&OP meetings
  • Highlight gaps between demand and supply
  • Follow up on agreed action plans

Reporting & Systems

  • Maintain planning data in ERP (NetSuite preferred)
  • Develop and update reports and dashboards
  • Ensure data accuracy and master data alignment

3. REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in economics or management engineering
  • Fluency in English
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a global or regional inventory planning function, preferably in the apparel industry
  • High proficiency in Excel with data visualization skills
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills: ability to manage large amount of data as well as qualitative information, to identify insights and to drive actions accordingly
  • Strong ERP knowledge (NetSuite and BI as a plus) and good IT competences
  • Good interpersonal skills, comfortable in managing independently external teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
