- Sales Representative for the Swiss market
, with three primary areas of focus
- To identify new business opportunities while servicing and developing our existing dealer network, ensuring that ASSOS dealers have the right products, information, and skills to support the growth of the ASSOS brand and increase its market share in Switzerland.
- To implement merchandising plans and SIS (shop-in-shops) that align with ASSOS brand guidelines and the needs of our wholesale partners.

We are therefore particularly interested in candidates who already live in, or within easy reach of, these regions and who are available to travel regularly throughout Switzerland.
JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Be the main point of contact for assigned retail partners, visiting and contacting them regularly according to an agreed schedule.
- Sell products and educate dealers using the tools provided, while developing new initiatives based on professional experience and market knowledge.
- Actively manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to closing and regular follow-up to expand the ASSOS dealer network and increase sales across Switzerland.
- Develop business plans with our partners, identify growth opportunities, ensure product availability, and coordinate local initiatives with global and regional marketing campaigns.
- Work closely with the other members of the sales team to ensure that agreed KPIs are achieved.
- Provide weekly reports and develop business strategies together with the line manager.
- Maintain a clear understanding of product and distribution segmentation. Experience in managing key accounts will be considered an advantage.
- Work extensively with dealers to ensure that the benefits of ASSOS are clearly communicated and that retail partners have the right products, knowledge, and passion to drive sell-through.
- 2. ORDER MANAGEMENT
- Manage the sell-in of pre-orders and reorders, as well as backorder management.
- Use sales data and analytics to support commercial decisions and identify business opportunities.
- 3. VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Execute visual merchandising strategies and implement merchandising plans and SIS (shop-in-shops) in line with ASSOS brand guidelines and wholesale partner requirements.
- Collaborate with the ISE (In-Store Excellence) team to understand product priorities and manage in-store POP materials, window opportunities, and fixture orders.
- Train store staff on the correct maintenance and presentation of ASSOS-branded spaces.
- 4. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
- Develop and implement ASSOS community activities across Switzerland, with a particular focus on German-speaking and French-speaking regions.
- Plan and coordinate dealer rides, community rides, product launches, events, and other local brand activations.
- Work closely with ASSOS retail partners and internal teams to create relevant community initiatives that support brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with local cycling communities, clubs, ambassadors, athletes, and other relevant partners.
- Represent ASSOS professionally at community events, dealer activations, trade shows, and cycling events.
- Monitor the results of community initiatives and provide regular feedback and reporting to the Country Manager Switzerland.
- 5. FINANCIAL PLANNING & TRACKING
- Manage seasonal sell-in campaigns and work on planograms to ensure that the agreed collection is presented correctly.
- Monitor in-season sales and stock levels together with dealers to improve sell-through.
- Ensure that accounts receivable and payments are received on time.
- ADDITIONAL DETAILS
We are looking for a dynamic sales professional who enjoys travelling. The position requires travelling throughout Switzerland for a minimum of four days per week
, mainly within French and German speaking Switzerland. Occasional international travel may also be required.
We are particularly open to considering candidates who already live in, or within easy reach of, these regions.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary to support our retail partners and the ASSOS brand at community activities, cycling events, dealer activations, trade shows, and other commercial initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and the professional approach expected from a premium brand.
- THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Exceptional sales skills, including lead development, order building, upselling, cross-selling, and account management.
- Strong customer service, administrative, and organisational skills.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills, including a strong command of Excel—pivot tables, lookups, and formula building.
- Experience working with enterprise software systems; knowledge of Net Suite is preferred.
