Field Service Engineer (100%) Be the face of innovation in the global energy sector
The Project Lead Assignments is a key role within AST Field Service, taking ownership of field service assignments from project award through to close-out. You coordinate technical and quality requirements, brief and debrief Field Service Engineers, and ensure complete and accurate field reporting and invoicing. Working closely with the Field Service Manager, Operations Assistant and site teams, you help ensure smooth execution and consistent, high-quality service for our customers.
What you will do Take ownership of won FS assignments and prepare them for execution Prepare all project and technical documentation required for the given assignment Prepare new or existing project specific quality documentation Provide technical briefings to the Field Service Engineers ahead of deployment check field service reports for completeness, resolve open points and submit Lead project close-out and ivoicing, ensuring commercial accuracy Prepare and conduct debriefing sessions on assignment completion
What makes you the ideal fit Technical apprenticeship and/or degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering (or equivalent) Extensive hands-on field service experience with turbomachinery Solid understanding of project management, with several years of relevant experience Proficient in reading technical documentation and writing structured reports Understanding of the financial aspects of project execution Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is an advantage Structured and thorough, with strong attention to detail and accuracy Well-organized and able to manage multiple assignments in parallel Self-driven and reliable, with strong long-term professional commitment Customer-oriented, with a strong commitment to service excellence Confident with digital tools: MS Office, SharePoint, Salesforce or equivalent CH or EU citizen
