What does the role of IT Business Partner look like at Astara?
As IT Business Partner Front Office, you are the key operational link between business users, dealerships and the colleagues in the IT Strategy & Transformation organization.
You ensure the smooth day-to-day usage of the Astara Platform, resolve functional issues, translate business needs into system enhancements and actively contribute to user adoption and process excellence.
You report directly to the IT Applications Manager AWE and work closely with internal business departments, the internal local and HQ IT colleagues and external IT partners.
This position is based out of Flörsheim am Main. We offer a flexible homeworking policy. Regular travel (by car) to our dealer network is required.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:
You provide day-to-day functional support to internal business users and dealers on the Astara Platform.
You register and manage incidents and requests, ensuring clear documentation and first-time-right resolution.
You guide users in “how-to” questions and ensure correct usage of the system and processes.
You collect, analyze and document new business requirements and improvement requests.
You coordinate and/or support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of implemented changes.
You communicate new functionalities and system updates to the business and dealerships.
You identify training needs and facilitate training sessions where required.
You act as an ambassador of the Astara Platform and continuously deepen your process and system knowledge.
What do you bring to astara?
Bachelor level education or equivalent through experience.
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in an ERP-driven, process driven environment.
Experience with Salesforce (preferably) or extensive experience on any other CRM platform is an absolute must.
Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP system (e.g. MS Dynamics / Business Central / F&O) is an important plus.
You have a solid understanding of B2B wholesales & distribution processes (automotive distribution is a strong asset).
You work in an analytical, structured way and have a customer-oriented mindset.
You are fluent in German and have a strong command of English.
You are a self-starter with good communication skills.
