Job Title: Demand Planning Manager

Job Description

As a Demand Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in a prestigious, century-old company by contributing to a world-class Demand Planning organization. You will work cross-functionally with teams such as Commercial, Finance, Technology, Inventory Management, and Fulfillment Operations to ensure an integrated process of forecast planning for the business. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays and on-site presence from Tuesday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of demand planners to enhance forecast accuracy at the account level, addressing market challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales teams and key accounts to drive improved engagement and communication.
  • Collaborate on the development of critical metrics and dashboards to monitor, analyze, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Continuously improve forecasting processes and systems to address supply chain complexities.
  • Support enhancements of the S&OP and Demand review process.
  • Collaborate with supply planning to ensure timely delivery of new products and replenishment orders, managing inventory levels aligned with sales plans.
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunity for the business by driving insights into actions while working to reconcile forecasts and communicate issues clearly.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of progressive relevant demand planning experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial role.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with key accounts.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Oracle or similar planning applications.
  • Proficient in advanced forecasting concepts, principles, and standard methodologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, mathematics, business, or related fields.
  • Preferred knowledge of demand forecasting systems and PowerBI.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
