Logistics Support Specialist (Last-Mile Operations)

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Support Specialist to support last-mile delivery operations across Germany.

In this role, you will act as a key operational contact for delivery partners and drivers, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution, resolving operational issues in real time, and driving continuous improvement across delivery processes.

This position combines operational support, stakeholder coordination, data analysis, and process improvement.

You will work closely with delivery partners, station teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain high standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and driver experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily last-mile delivery operations and track performance across multiple delivery partners.
• Provide real-time operational support to drivers and partner coordinators through digital communication platforms (e. g., Slack).
• Investigate and resolve route, check-in, dispatch, and delivery issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Escalate critical operational concerns and collaborate with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
• Track operational KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Support process optimization initiatives that improve driver experience, operational efficiency, safety, quality, and cost metrics.
• Maintain, update, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational documentation.
• Prepare daily operational reports and ensure accurate tracking of performance data.
• Partner with station teams and delivery partners to implement scalable solutions and operational best practices.
• Contribute to automation and simplification initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve execution.
• Required Qualifications
• Experience in logistics, transportation, last-mile delivery, warehouse operations, or a similar operational environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other collaboration or operational tracking tools.
• Ability to create, update, and maintain operational processes and SOPs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English and conversational German.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting last-mile delivery or transportation operations.
• Exposure to KPI reporting, operational performance analysis, and data-driven decision making.
• Experience identifying process inefficiencies and implementing operational improvements.
• Familiarity with process automation and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience coordinating with drivers, station teams, vendors, or delivery service partners.
