Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension or Permanent Conversion)

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Marketing Manager to join a leading global technology organization focused on cybersecurity, observability, and digital resilience.

This is a highly visible role supporting the German market, where you will act as the bridge between regional sales leadership and the wider EMEA marketing organization. You will be responsible for executing impactful marketing programs that drive pipeline generation, accelerate opportunity progression, strengthen brand awareness, and support business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded marketer who enjoys working closely with sales teams and can quickly translate strategy into execution. The successful candidate will join the leadership team, manage one direct report, and play a key role in driving marketing success across Germany.

We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running from day one, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Program Execution

  • Execute the regional marketing strategy and marketing plan for Germany.
  • Translate strategic priorities into measurable marketing programs that drive demand, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Manage marketing initiatives from concept and planning through execution, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Lead and deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Identify opportunities for new marketing activities that complement existing plans and business objectives.
  • Maintain and manage the regional marketing activity calendar to maximize engagement and avoid audience fatigue.
  • Ensure all marketing documentation, administration, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Partner closely with the wider EMEA Marketing team to support regional and cross-functional campaigns.
  • Drive marketing programs focused on pipeline generation, progression, and conversion.
  • Work closely with sales teams to align marketing activities to revenue objectives.
  • Support opportunity acceleration and pipeline development through targeted campaigns and activities.
  • Track campaign effectiveness and business outcomes through clearly defined KPIs.
  • Measure and communicate marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue performance.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Act as a trusted marketing partner to regional sales and business stakeholders.
  • Clearly communicate marketing plans, results, ROI, and investment performance.
  • Present campaign successes, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between business priorities and marketing execution.
  • Manage and support one direct report.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to regional marketing strategy while owning execution excellence.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Field Marketing within enterprise technology environments.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a similar field marketing, demand generation, campaign marketing, or regional marketing role.
  • Experience working within enterprise software, SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, or broader B2B technology organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the German market and enterprise buying landscape.
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable marketing programs that generate business impact.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to support pipeline growth and opportunity conversion.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Data-driven approach to marketing, including campaign analysis, performance measurement, and ROI reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing analytics/reporting tools such as Tableau.
  • Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Based in Germany and willing to regularly work from the Munich office.

Preferred

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring team members.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed, international organization.
  • Sales experience or a strong commercial mindset would be advantageous.
