AO7 Senior Human Resource Officer
Public Sector People are currently working in partnership with a State Government corporation. They are looking to recruit an AO7 Human Resources Officer on a 6-month contract.

You will be leading a team of six to drive the operations of the organisation as well as upskilling the members of your team.

This role will deliver high-quality, strategically focused human resource management business advice, consultancy and support services including delivery of contemporary health, safety, and wellbeing management practices.

Benefits:

  • AO7.1 Rate of Pay + 11.5% Super
  • Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week
  • WFH 2 days per week
  • ASAP starts – this side of XMAS
  • Assist in develop and deliver of new project.
  • 6-month contract + extension
  • Weekly Pay

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead, manage and support the development and capability of team member.
  • Provide expert strategic, tactical, and operational advice.
  • Provide high level advice on employee relations matters to support management.
  • Manage projects and support the Manager, Capability and Culture in the development and implementation of HR practices.
  • Report to: Manager. Lead a team of 6 (HR and Admin)
  • Provide concise, high quality and timely correspondence and submissions of a complex nature on a full range of people management issues.
  • Mentor team members by facilitating development of technical and interpersonal capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to start a new role ASAP or early in the new year.
  • Team leadership experience is mandatory.
  • Will need to complete a police check prior to starting.
