This is an exciting time to join the Plant and Maintenance Leadership Team at Macmahon!
As Area Manager for Maintenance , in Western Australia, you will provide operational expertise and support to projects with an aim to assist in the delivery of the lowest possible, sustainable cost of mobile plant to operations and the successful delivery of contractual obligations to Macmahon clients.
Reporting to the General Manager for Maintenance, you must also assist with complying with both contractual and regulatory obligations regarding but not limited to providing safe equipment and working conditions for employees.
About You
- A minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience and operational experience gained on a mine site is essential.
- Minimum 10 years post trade experience or an engineering or relevant tertiary qualification is required.
- Proven working knowledge of the practical application of mechanical, electrical, heavy mobile equipment’s and safety legal requirements.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance on heavy earth-moving equipment.
- Working knowledge of plant operation diagnostic tools and product technical enhancement.
- Working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of Industry best practice and advanced knowledge of HSE principles is required.
- A relevant front line leadership qualification would be highly regarded.
