About Us:
Nerang RSL & Memorial Club is being transformed through our exciting redevelopment to create bigger and better facilities! We’re expanding our venue to offer even more, including three bars, a pizzeria, a coffee shop, a bistro, function spaces, a modern sports bar, and gaming areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Support bar operations, stock control, and cellar team activities.
- Deliver high-quality service and assist team members during peak times.
- Promote club membership benefits and assist with beverage promotions.
- Support TAB/Keno compliance and staff training.
- Assist with administrative tasks, rosters, and staff performance reviews.
- Provide on-the-job training and foster a positive team culture.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and align with the Club\’s Development Plan.
- Ensure RSA, RSG, and legislative compliance.
Required Qualifications & Qualities:
- Advanced knowledge of bar operations and beverage service.
- Current RSA, RSG, and Basic Food Handling certifications.
- Understanding of the Liquor Act 1992 and Gaming Machine Act 1991.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional presentation and approachable nature.
