Our client, a leading aged care provider, is seeking an experienced Care Manager to join their wonderful team at their beautiful Care Community in Alfred Cove, WA.

Position Details:
- Permanent full-time (These are not agency positions!)
- Requirements: Right to work in Australia – applications will not be considered without this.
- Salary: $135,000 – $142,000 base (inclusive)
- Minimum 3 years\‘ current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Ability to provide clinical and care leadership with a person-centred approach, ensuring residents and their families experience quality care.
- Current and suitable police check
- Experience leading and managing care team members
- Knowledge of the aged care industry, regulations, and funding (AACQA; ACFI)

About the Role
· Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home
· Assists General Manager to ensure policies and procedures are followed and appropriate training and resources are provided to the team to deliver high-quality care
· Provides clinical and care leadership with a person-centred approach enabling Residents and their families to experience a quality service
· Proactively manage risk in the care community and in consultation with the General Manager implement measures to prevent/mitigate risks
· Supports General Manager to develop/role model a customer service mentality that places the Residents and their relatives at the center of everything we do
To be Successful in the Role, You Will Have:
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
- Proven experience in delivering quality clinical care in aged care or acute settings.
- Exceptional clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
- High level of computer systems proficiency
- Residential Aged Care experience
