About the role
Family-owned service seeking a passionate and experienced Center Manager to lead and grow our purpose-built service. The ideal candidate is a high performing leader with a drive to build respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and their families to assist in the ongoing success of a high-quality service.
What you\’ll be doing
- Manage all aspects of the centre\’s daily operations, including staff management, program planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee the development and implementation of engaging educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the children
- Ensure the centre maintains a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff
- Effectively communicate with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships and address any concerns
- Manage staffing, including recruitment, training, and professional development
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure the centre\’s compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
What we\’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar childcare or early education management role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Thorough understanding of childcare regulations, policies, and best practices
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and care
