About the Role:

As the Chief Finance Officer , you will be pivotal in shaping the organisation’s financial strategy and ensuring long-term sustainability. This is a senior leadership position where you’ll have the opportunity to develop and execute innovative financial plans, lead a high-performing team, and influence decision-making at the executive level. Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement a robust financial strategy that aligns with the organisation’s overall goals and drives long-term sustainability.
2. Lead and inspire a high-performing Finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
3. Provide strategic advice and actionable insights to the Executive Leadership Team, supporting critical decision-making with clear and concise financial analysis.
4. Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, ensuring they meet organisational and legislative standards.
5. Drive innovation in financial systems and reporting processes, introducing new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and transparency.
6. Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to safeguard the organisation’s operations and resources.
7. Represent the organisation in engagements with key stakeholders, partners, and industry networks, leveraging insights to inform strategic financial decisions.
8. Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
9. Develop policies and procedures to streamline financial operations and enhance decision-making capabilities across the organisation.
10. Deliver insights through trend analysis, performance dashboards, and proactive identification of financial anomalies, enabling timely interventions and strategic planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent (Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
2. CA or CPA qualified.
3. Extensive experience in financial strategy and leadership roles.
4. Familiarity with financial governance frameworks, risk management, and financial reporting standards.
