This organization was founded 10 years ago and is disrupting the legacy players within the business services sector in which it operates. Highly profitable with consistent organic growth, the founders are now implementing an executive level management team to take the business to new heights.

As CFO, you will have carriage of all things finance, risk, and transactional and will be supported by a very capable 2ic and small, high-quality finance team. The mandate for the role is process improvement, putting in place institutional grade insights and reporting, driving growth, and ultimately helping the founders transition the organization to the next stage of growth and ownership. You will partner closely with sales & marketing on pricing, strategy, and ensuring the growth is occurring as efficiently and innovatively as possible.

The ideal profile would be starting your career in the ‘big end’ of town in well-run, high-performance organizations, but you have since transitioned into the SME space. Experience in founder-led or private businesses with circa $50m – $100m revenue (or more) will be highly valued. Less focused on sector, more so on skills although will favour services over product e.g. financial services, leasing, consumer services. The model is B2B on the supply side and B2C on the demand side so experience in both areas is valuable. You enjoy a broad remit; you are hands-on and can take ownership and make decisions that create impact. You relish fast-paced cultures with driven, passionate high-performers across all functions – you want to make an impact in a company and role that will give you freedom and autonomy.
