About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health Social Work Service team as a Clinical Team Leader , where you will be responsible for:
- Initiating and coordinating quality activities and service improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the service.
- Building and maintaining professional networks and working relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the region to support service development and quality activities.
- Establishing social work practices and protocols for managing complex psychosocial cases.
- Providing consultative services to all areas within the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, including support, education, and problem-solving for complex psychosocial cases.
- Coordinating and facilitating an ongoing training and development program for Social Work staff.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Experience at a senior clinical level within the profession in an area of specialization.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake a clinical caseload while undertaking concurrent project work.
- Ability to coordinate service provision for consumers.
- Ability to supervise a professional team and effectively manage time and other resources.
