Director of Finance - APAC

Position Overview: Hendrickson is looking for an experienced Director of Finance to support their strategic growth plans across the Asia Pacific region. This role will partner closely with the Vice-President – APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning, directing, and reporting on the performance of the APAC region.
2. Providing critical decision support over a broad range of commercial issues to meet the Division’s strategic business objectives.
3. Overseeing the running of financial and accounting systems for APAC, including statutory obligations and risk management.
4. Providing finance leadership to personnel located across the region.
5. Participating in the preparation of strategic objectives and developing tactical plans.
6. Advising on the financial implications of operational and commercial decisions in conjunction with Commercial Managers across the APAC region.
7. Leading various projects across APAC related to systems, inventory management, warehousing, supply agreements, and customer contracts.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Experience: Candidates with experience in Executive Finance roles ideally from large multinational companies.
2. Technical Skills: A broad grounding in finance and accounting, advanced stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
3. Behavioural Attributes: A strategic thinker and collaborative relationship builder with strong business acumen.
4. Mandatory Qualifications: CA/ CPA qualified and staff management experience.
