Experienced Associate or Senior Associate – Estate Planning and Estate Litigation Lawyer – 4-5 days per week

Sedsman Legal is a leading city wills and estates legal firm. We seek a conscientious, experienced, and capable estates solicitor to join our busy and close-knit team on a 4 or 5 day per week basis.

Ideally, you will be a solicitor with 5+ years PAE. However, applications from solicitors with less experience will be considered if you have worked solely in the wills/estates field for a significant period of time.

You will need to be able to work independently and have proven experience managing some or all of your own files. Your workload will primarily be estate planning and estate administration work; however, ideally, it will also include some estate litigation work.

This position is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected and supportive team of solicitors who value work-life balance, obtain further mentorship, and build your practice. The firm has a strong referral basis, and so it is not a requirement that you be able to find and obtain your own work.

The ability to work constructively and positively with other professional and support staff, and provide positive mentorship to paralegals and junior solicitors, is essential. In addition, you will need to be able to evidence strong attention to detail.

Salary will be negotiated depending on your prior experience.
