Family Lawyer
Our client has grown considerably, developing a reputation for commitment and quality and providing personalised, bespoke service to our well-respected clients across their practice areas. Our client is seeking a proactive, intelligent and well-organised Family Lawyer to join our reputable Family Team. You will be working as part of a team providing support to Senior Partners, including:
- representing Government clients;
- attending a high volume of Court and Tribunal appearances.
We are seeking someone with:
- 1-4 years PAE;
- advocacy experience preferably in the Federal Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court and/or administrative Appeals Tribunal;
- Be admitted as a lawyer with the Supreme Court of NSW;
- Have a minimum of 1 year of PQE;
- Have an interest in the fields of Family Law & Commercial Law;
- Be available to work full-time;
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Pay attention to detail;
- Be able to meet deadlines;
- Be able to work independently (or in a team) with limited supervision;
- Ability to work well within a team environment and manage a high-volume workload;
- Ability to exercise judgement & resolve problems expeditiously;
- Strong technical skills including in legal document drafting and research.
Suiting candidates at both the Associate and Senior Associate levels, the successful applicant will be required to work on a range of development transactions for a number of private and listed clients, reporting directly to a lead Partner and working autonomously whenever appropriate. You will get direct client contact and the opportunity to engage in business development and be given every opportunity to build a practice of your own.
